Diary and survey record book kept by Fauconnier in the course of his work as a surveyor (1664-1734). He often worked with Capt. Lancaster Symes and John Blanchard, Jr. Includes copies of letters patent to lands in New York and New Jersey, 1664-1709; diary account of surveying the boundary between New York and Connecticut in Westchester County, 1716, and of survey work in the same area from 1716 to 1721; comments on opposition to the boundary survey, persons met, places where they passed the night, etc.; and surveys of lands in New Jersey, 1720-1734.
